There are two main types:
FUE hair transplant

A skilled surgeon will ensure these new placements match the natural angle of your hair, and the follicles should go on to grow healthy hairs where you were previously bald.
FUT hair transplant
In FUT surgery, the surgeon cuts away a strip of hair follicles from the donor site. This strip is then divided up into individual follicles or small clusters, which are then inserted into the recipient area. This technique is sometimes called ‘strip harvesting’.
